Sakura is synonymous with elegance, innovation, and care in every detail. Located in a region with a favorable climate and rich soil, every bean here is treated with respect and precision, resulting in coffees that delight with their balance, sweetness, and complexity.
The farm was named Sakura (“cherry blossom” in Japanese) by Silvio, as a tribute to his many Japanese connections within the coffee industry — and specifically his friendship with a great partner, Toshi, whose daughter is named Sakura.
Sakura Farm also stands out for its adoption of sustainable practices and continuous investment in innovation, always seeking to deliver the best results from the field to the cup.
The farm is recognized for the excellence of its crops, where two exceptional varieties stand out in both productivity and quality: Catucaí 2SL and Arara. These carefully managed cultivars result in coffees of high complexity, balance, and singularity, reflecting the full potential of Chapada Diamantina.
