A refuge between mountains and history
Located in the Chapada Diamantina region, Fazenda Passagem de Pedra cultivates high-quality coffees at privileged altitudes. The name pays tribute to a rock formation in the region, which represents the strength and resilience of local producers.
The name also refers to the Rio de Contas, which crosses the property and is one of the most important rivers in Bahia. Its presence influences the microclimate, nourishes biodiversity, and carries with it the history of the region, marking the landscape with its passages between stones — a natural symbol that inspires the farm’s name.
The farm is an example of technical management combined with environmental preservation. It also serves as a hub for experimenting with new varieties and post-harvest methods, always focusing on excellence and respect for nature.
Among its crops, two varieties stand out for high productivity and quality — Arara and Catucaí 2SL — in addition to a select group of exotic varieties such as Aramosa, SL28, São Roque, Geisha, and Bourbon Real. This genetic diversity, combined with Piatã’s unique terroir, gives rise to micro-lots of rare and exuberant sensory complexity, capable of enchanting the most demanding palates.
