FROM A DREAM TO A BENCHMARK IN SPECIALTY COFFEE

Located in Piatã, in Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, a region blessed with unique conditions for cultivating top-quality coffee, which accounted for 17.5% of the global Cup of Excellence winners until 2023.
Since Silvio Leite began his activities as a producer in October 2019, Fazenda Cerca de Pedras São Benedito has been a milestone for conscious production connected to the environment. Our focus is on producing high-level coffees with careful selection, honoring a commitment to sustainability and environmental harmony.
Quality is our essence, from the selective harvesting of perfect cherries, carried out by a mostly female team, to the slow drying processes on African beds and greenhouses. Our processing methods include Natural, Washed, Natural Fermented, and Honey, ensuring that each variety expresses its ideal attributes of aroma, body, acidity, and sweetness. Rigorous quality control is guaranteed in our main laboratory in Lauro de Freitas, Bahia, where all cupping tests are performed.
VARIETIES, AWARDS, AND OPERATING MODEL
In its first harvest in 2020, Fazenda Cerca de Pedras São Benedito won the title of National Champion of the 17th ABIC Championship for Chapada Diamantina, with the lot reaching the highest auction value. In 2021, in its first participation in the Cup of Excellence Brazil, the farm reached 17th place and was a winner of the International COE in 2021 and 2022.
